eBay has made its Terapeak Product Research free to all sellers.
Terapeak offers tools that allow users to research eBay marketplace data to get both current and historic insights into items that are sold on the site. Sellers can use Terapeak Product Research to optimize titles, item specifics, pricing, and other elements in their listings. It enables users to research sold listings beyond the 90-day period that’s available through a standard search.
Terapeak Product Research was previously available only to those who paid for a Terapeak subscription through eBay. Those who’ve paid for subscriptions past April 15 will received a prorated refund in their accounts sometime in the next couple of weeks.
Users who have a Basic or above Store subscription will still have access to other exclusive tools including the new Terapeak Sourcing Insights, which eBay highlights as offering users the ability to:
- Identify categories with high demand and low supply
- See trends over time, and stay ahead of seasonal demand
- Use sales data to refresh inventory based on what buyers are looking for
