Have a big ticket item on eBay but don’t want to be bothered by zero feedback buyers or overseas scam artists? Your life may have gotten a little more difficult.
eBay has decided to dump it’s pre-approved buyer feature which required bidders to sign up for an auction ahead of time.
The company was afraid the personal information gathered by sellers during the sign-up process could be used by sellers in a less than ethical way.
Now, however, sellers of high dollar items or auction houses who want to eliminate the riff-raff may get stuck dealing with bidders they’d rather not have to worry about.
