Would you save a little money on shipping insured packages–and not have to stand in line at the post office to ship your cards?
eBay is making that option available to sellers through ShipCover, the service it now offers to those who are willing to print their shipping labels on the site.
Insured shipping for a package valued at up to $100 costs $1.23 through ShipCover, while the U.S. Postal Service charges $2.25 ($3.40 for international). Rates for higher valued packages are also a little less.
eBay has been rolling out a number of changes and will continue to do so over the next couple of weeks including more domestic shipping options, along with a way for sellers to analyze their listings to see which perform better than others.
Here’s a rundown of the changes with links to more information.
