Ten years ago only a small percentage of the world’s population had even heard of eBay. Now, it’s a household word. The auction company has become a giant corporation with profits in the hundreds of millions. CEO Meg Whitman has the responsibility of guiding the company through some less bullish times.
Her wide-ranging conversation with some reporters also revealed eBay isn’t scared by Wall Street’s lukewarm outlook.
