Would you drive 110 miles an hour to beat the close of an auction? We have proof it’s a really bad idea.
We’ve all been there.
Auction about to close. An item we really, really want. And we’re nowhere near a computer.
Kinko’s is a solid option. Open 24 hours. Plenty of internet access.
Or…you could try to get home.
That’s apparently the decision Washington state resident James Garrett came to.
He’s apparently not a sports collector, but evidence indicates he is really into action figures. So much so that he had police chasing him at very high speeds as he tried to beat the eBay countdown clock.
What happened? Let’s just say the Seattle Times is reporting in this story that he missed the auction. Sniping service anyone?
