A new year will bring changes to the eBay Bucks program. The incentive-based program gives those who buy items on the site to earn what are essentially rebates that can be applied to other purchases a few times per year.
The new terms go into effect January 1.
eBay has cut the base earnings for Bucks from 2% to 1%, which won’t make folks happy but they have at least done away with the $5 minimum earn restrictions for redeeming them. They will also offer some selling-based incentives as part of the program beginning in January, which could mean more revenue-earning opportunities if you do a lot of selling on eBay. You’ll also be able to sign up for promotional emails and get invitations to bonus offers during the year.
