An autograph signing session by four members of the Philadelphia Eagles was shut down Saturday afternoon.
According to a couple of media reports, DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Brett Celek and Nate Allen were scheduled to appear Saturday afternoon at the Laurel Mall in Hazleton, PA.
The owner of “The Sports Scene”, a fan shop inside the mall, said jerseys that had been sent to him by other dealers weren’t manufactured by Reebok and were hauled away before the autographing even began. When the team representatives that were accompanying the players found out about the raid, they told the players not to sign.
It left Argo embarrassed according to one media report while another says the whole thing is a bit confusing.
