Players will sign jersey lettering for use as inserts in ’06 Donruss football. Chris Fuamatu-Ma’afala had nightmares about having to do this.
Donruss Playoff has announced it will bring it’s Lettermen concept to the company’s 2006 football Threads product.
Signed jersey letters will make the cross-over to football after first appearing in Donruss’ 2005 baseball issue. The company was not granted a baseball license by Major League Baseball in ’06.
There will be swatches of jersey letters for every letter in a player’s last name. For 2006 Donruss Threads, 34 rookies autographed letter swatches for Rookie Class.
Each player signed between 20 to 30 copies of each letter in their last name, for a total of 100 to 240 rookie cards.
