Heritage Auctions is helping the Dallas Mavericks raise some money for local charities.
The Dallas-based auctioneer is hosting an online charity auction of game-worn jerseys and autographed items with proceeds going to the Mavs Foundation.
The auction, which runs through Monday, includes a 2022-23 game-worn Luka Doncic jersey and several items signed by the Slovenian superstar and former Mavs great Dirk Nowitzki.
The Doncic jersey was worn in three games during the season, including the Jan. 2 game in which he scored 39 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out eight assists. Bidding stood at $15,000 on Thursday.
There are three Doncic signed items including a Statement Edition jersey, a Slovenia jersey, a signed basketball and a signed “History Maker” print.
Autographed jerseys from Kyrie Irving join two 2011 Sports Illustrated magazines signed by Nowitzki.
Several other game-used items are also being offered including jerseys from Tim Hardaway Jr., and Jaden Hardy.
The jerseys were acquired directly from the Mavericks as part of Panini Authentic’s exclusive relationship as their official game used partner and comes in the original Panini storage box with paperwork.
The Mavs Foundation assists nonprofit organizations serving women, children and families in need.
