Another Atlanta area hobby shop has been victimized by a thief.
Not long after BT Collectibles in Woodstock lost about $60,000 in merchandise to a smash and grab burglar, Dave’s Sports Cards in Roswell was hit, with display cases smashed and cards stolen. The suspect was in and out of the store in about a minute–roughly the same amount of time a thief spent inside the Woodstock store.
Owner Dave Oliveri says his Mickey Mantle cards were locked away in a safe but more than $20,000 worth of cards were taken including a box of 2008 Topps Triple Threads Baseball.
