The Dallas Cowboys will pack up game-used jerseys, equipment and pieces of Texas Stadium and allow Steiner Sports to sell it all later this year.
New York-based Steiner Sports enters into its first National Football League team partnership with the announcement of an exclusive collectibles agreement with the Dallas Cowboys. The deal was announced Wednesday by Steiner Sports executive vice-president, Sean Mahoney.
Cowboys-Steiner Collectibles is the latest in professional and college franchise team ventures for Steiner Sports, which also includes previous agreements with the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, the New York Islanders, and college partnerships with Notre Dame and Syracuse.
Game-worn jerseys, practice-worn jerseys, game-worn pants, locker nameplates, locker room chairs, game-used footballs, kicking tees, equipment bags, game-used helmets, seats from the team’s final year at Texas Stadium, seatbacks, stadium flags, photo archives, autographed collectibles and fantasy experiences including, pre-game field visits and locker room tours will be included in the partnership.
"We are extremely excited to have our first professional football team partnership be with the Dallas Cowboys, who we consider to be the premier brand in American football," Mahoney said.
The Cowboys-Steiner merchandise will be available exclusively through the Cowboys, Steiner Sports and Game Used Universe.com.
