Their home is just a short drive from AT&T Stadium but if you’re a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and appreciate someone’s dedicated collecting efforts, Stoney and Diana Kersh’s house might be more fun to visit.
They live in a veritable Cowboys museum. In fact, that’s what they call it.
Room after room of their Arlington, TX home is full of vintage and modern Cowboys stuff. Old programs, bobble heads, hard-to-find buttons, signed jerseys football cards and just about anything else you can think of. You may not find the ultra-valuable game-worn items in some Cowboys collections nearby, but for sheer volume, design and creativity, they deserve high marks.
How many pieces he owns isn’t actually known but it’s safe to say Stoney has accumulated thousands of items over the years.
The couple remodeled their house this year, with a new kitchen and more room to house the collection. Both are obviously huge Cowboys fans, with Stoney’s allegiance dating back to watching games on a black-and-white TV.
“Oh absolutely. It’s running through my blood. It’s pulsing in my veins,” he told WFAA-TV.
Stoney started collecting Cowboys football cards as a kid and things took off from there.
