The production company responsible for some of cable’s hottest shows is still looking for collectors to be part of their new show centered around a sports memorabilia business.
We posted a story about it a couple of weeks ago, which casting director Danielle Gervais told us did result in a story you might see when the show hits the air on a major network. But they’re still looking for more collectors and more items to showcase.
Here’s the pitch, straight from the company….
Do you have an amazing piece of sports history – a rare autographed baseball, signed stadium seats, or even a championship ring that you are looking to sell? Are you a collector with tons of sports memorabilia or just dedicated fan with a gem?
The Producers of History Channel’s Pawn Stars and American Restoration are bringing you the best sports memorabilia show out there.
If you have a unique, rare, or awesome piece of sports memorabilia that you’d like to sell of just show off, please e-mail us with a picture of the item, a brief description of what it is and why it is special, and tell us how you got it!
Email [email protected] if you’ve got something.
But that show isn’t the only one in production.
Grey Flannel Auctions will be a reality television series this coming October on the Discovery Channel. They, too, are currently looking for items with “fascinating back stories and/or provenance, as well as items that you may have originally thought to be not authentic and were proven to be the real deal”.
You can reach them at [email protected]lauctions.com with a description of your item(s), the full story behind how you acquired them, your contact information, and photos.
No word yet on exactly when either show might hit the air.
