They won’t have official NFL rookie cards for a couple of months but some of the top performers at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine are getting the cardboard treatment now.
John Ross, the former Washington Huskies receiver who generated national headlines with his record-setting 4.22 40-yard dash time, is the first of two out of the blocks in a group of cards released on Panini America’s Instant platform.
LSU running back Leonard Fournette was also featured when Panini kicked off its 2017 Instant NFL program Wednesday.
The number of Instant base cards printed is determined by the number of orders received. They’re $9.99 or as low as less than $4 per card in quantity. Sales are conducted on Panini’s website.
Ross and Fournette are also on limited-edition green and black parallel versions numbered to 10 and one.
Ross also is the first subject in the Combine Calligraphy autograph set that also went live on Wednesday. Fournette’s Combine Calligraphy autographs will be available Thursday followed by Christian McCaffrey on Friday.
Combine Calligraphy autographs are numbered to 25 ($74.99), 10 ($99.99) and 1 ($149.99) and will also be available for only 24 hours or until the cards are sold out. The 1/1 version of Ross’ card sold quickly on Wednesday afternoon.
