Access to Major Leaguers is much better in the spring than it is at a big league park during the season. The atmosphere is relaxed for the most part. Players have more spare time to satisfy the demands of the autograph hunters who come to watch their workouts. Some come just to see what they can get, but in the crush of people at Port St. Lucie, it’s a dog-eat-dog world.
