A huge collection of nearly 500 individual autographed trading cards, all encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA, is up for auction card-by-card.
Dating from the late 1930s through the recent past, the cards are being offered by New Jersey-based Just Collect.
“We started assembling them back in the summer and early fall, when we bought two very large autograph collections,” said Dave DiGregorio, the company’s Director of Business Development.
The listings, all of which launched at 99 cents with no reserve, range from signed rookie cards of Fran Tarkenton and Gale Sayers to Hall of Famers like Nellie Fox, Stan Musial, Ernie Banks, Whitey Ford, Tom Seaver and Casey Stengel along with common players from classic sets including 1952 Topps and 1986-87 Fleer Basketball.
Some date as far back as the late 1930s including a 1939 Play Ball Leo Durocher.
Some of the cards had been in private collections for many years and are being offered for the first time. Several carry inscriptions.
The auction list also includes graded and ungraded vintage stars and several near sets. The auctions, which are being conducted through the company’s eBay page, end Sunday night.
