More than 30 autograph guests are lined up for the Cincy Sports Fest, being held in the days prior to the 2015 All-Star Game in Cincinnati. The Northern Kentucky Convention Center will host the event, which is being promoted by CEI Sports, Inc., from July 10 – July 14.
CEI’s CEO and founder Charles Sotto says the Sports Fest has been in the planning stages for nearly two years.
Guests listed online so far include members of Cincinnati’s 1970s ‘Big Red Machine’ including Pete Rose, Johnny Bench and Joe Morgan, players from the 1990 Reds World Series team, Hall of Famer Lou Brock, former Bengals stars Boomer Esiason and Ickey Woods and softball great Jennie Finch. Sotto says more autograph guests will be added in the weeks ahead.
Over 100 dealer booths are planned at the event, which will showcase a variety of vendors ranging from sports memorabilia dealers to local businesses.
“This event is the hometown version of the true fan experience. This is where the sports fanatics can come get a taste of Cincinnati, meet the legends and buy authentic memorabilia, all while having a great time,” said Sotto.
Show hours are 6 PM – 9 PM Friday (VIP only); Saturday from 10 AM-9 PM, Sunday 10 AM-5 PM, Monday 10 AM-5 PM and Tuesday 10 AM-4 PM. The Baseball All-Star Game is slated for Tuesday night at Great American Ballpark, across the Ohio River in Cincinnati.
General admission into the Cincy Sports Fest is $5 per day. A VIP Pass is also available for $85, which offers entry into all show days including an exclusive VIP party on Friday, July 10 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. VIPs receive 10% off autograph tickets, one free autograph per day, and priority in line.
