Steve Wolter began collecting while hometown boy Pete Rose was making a run at the all time hits record. 20+ years later, he owns one of the top sports memorabilia collections around.
Steve Wolter has always been a baseball fan. His passion for the game led him to Riverfront Stadium the night Pete Rose passed Ty Cobb. An already-simmering interest in baseball cards and memorabilia boiled over and since that time, the former insurance company President has built one of the country’s top collections.
He also runs a high-end store in Cincinnati called Sports Investments, Inc.
The hobby veteran was the subject of a recent profile in the Cincinnati Business Journal.
