Kids today. Addicted to video games. Head buried in their smartphones. Never do anything on their own. Bucha babies. Right?
If anything, the internet is making the world a smaller place, where one kid in the Midwest and another on the east coast can partner up on a big charity venture.
Cards2Kids started in Illinois, but the young man who started it, now has an ‘east coast representative’. That would be Ben Schrager, a high school freshman whose work recently caught the attention of The Trentonian, a New Jersey newspaper that has its home base nearby.
They talked with the local shop owner who’s acting as the drop off point for donated cards that will be given to underprivileged or sick kids and to Ben himself about his charity efforts. Read the story and watch the short interviews here.
