The game is played at a speed most fans can’t imagine while watching on TV or in the stands. That doesn’t stop pro football players from capturing memories of virtually every game they played in, though.
While concussions have robbed some players of parts of their memory, others have clear recollections of specific years, games, moments and even instants.
While many football cards now offer staged poses or are graphically changed to eliminate other players or background images, the old action shots offer the chance to relive those moments.
Tom Lorenzo and Nando DiFino of Fanhouse grabbed a few cards while chatting with some of the players from the 1980s and 90s.
