One online price guide service toots its transaction horn.
Online sports card pricing service CardPricer.com reports that it recently posted its five-millionth website transaction. The site was launched in 2006 with a goal of offering more up-to-date data for collectors and dealers.
“We’re committed to providing the best experience for our customers, and in our industry that means providing an abundance of accurate, timely sports card pricing information,” said Ted Golden, CEO of CardPricer. “Having posted over five million transactions and counting, we are making great headway towards that goal.”
In addition to this achievement, the firm said it is working to implement major updates to its web application. The enhancements will result in new price guides for baseball card sets that are not included in the current transaction total. In addition to eBay data, CardPricer tracks sales from a number of leading sports memorabilia auction houses with several new marketplaces to be added in the upcoming months.
