It’s still hush-hush, but Marc Ecko has apparently found a company ready, willing and able to slap some sort of asterisk branding mark on Barry Bonds’ 756h home run ball.
BrandNew, an industrial branding manufacturer based in Goleta, California, is about to make its most famous branding iron yet.
The company was approached by Marc Ecko, the man who bought the ball that broke Hank Aaron’s record, about making a branding iron to burn the asterisk into the baseball. “We just kind of fell into it,” said BrandNew president Sean Clayton.
A newspaper report says both sides have signed a non-disclosure agreement.
