Reggie Bush wore them…now he’s hoping you’ll buy them to speed recovery in earthquake-torn Haiti.
New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush wore two pairs of shoes on the field during Super Bowl Sunday. He’s selling both as part of a Haiti Relief auction now underway.
Bush and his footwear sponsor, adidas, are hosting a charity auction featuring game-worn gear during – and prior to – Super Bowl XLIV.
Items up for auction include a pair of yellow-gold shoes worn by Bush before the game with Indianapolis. The shoes are signed with a "Help Haiti" inscription added.
Bush changed into his game shoes–a black pair with white stripes–just before kickoff in Miami and those game-worn cleats from Super Bowl XLIV are also being auctioned.
The third lot consists of Bush’s game-worn gloves from the win over the Colts.
All proceeds from the auction will go directly to Mercy Corps to assist in their Haiti Relief efforts.
A number of bids have already been placed. The auction ends on February 20. Click here to see the auction.
