One Chicago area man was in the hospital, battling a serious health problems when burglars broke into his home and took valuables that included sports memorabilia. Now he’s trying to help police catch the crooks.
He hasn’t been able to play football or baseball since the mid-1970s. The victim of an assault, Mike Clark been paralyzed since but keeps tabs on his teams and the history of the games through a collection of autographed jerseys.
Two weeks ago, thieves who are apparently too lazy to find a real job, decided Mike’s house was an easy target. While he was lying in the hospital bed he’s been confined to for three months, they robbed him. Watch the story from ABC 7 in Chicago.
