Eighty-five million digital packs of Topps BUNT have sold since the app’s official launch five years ago this month, with 490 million total “cards” published.
Topps says over 2.2 million people have either tried or are using BUNT, and 38 million trades have been made.
Those figures were revealed as Topps introduced 2016 National League MVP Kris Bryant as the cover athlete for the 2017 edition of the app, which is a free download.

The five-year anniversary of Topps MLB BUNT introduces a variety of updates to the app for the 2017 season. For the first time, BUNT will offer its own digital base set of new trading cards, daily release of new packs and cards along with fantasy gaming and scoring in real time. The interface has been updated interface with more streamlined
interactions, including an all- new home screen layout with unique imagery exclusive to the 2017 edition of BUNT. The new interface will also allow users to interact with their cards on the detail screen, giving them the ability to tap and hold to drag and drop cards within their collection.
Topps MLB BUNT 2017 is available for free in the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and in the Google Play Store for Android devices. It can be downloaded here.
Topps has also created a physical trading card product under the BUNT name.
