It’s a wrap on the 2009 NBA Finals Jersey Auction.
The second of two NBA Finals auctions wrapped up Thursday with game-worn jerseys from Game 3 sold online by the league.
Kobe Bryant again outpaced every other player in bidding. The jersey worn by the Lakers’ star, who won his fourth title when L.A. stopped the Orlando Magic last week, sold for $28,060.
Bryant’s Game 1 home jersey sold last week for $35,270.
The Bryant jersey brought more than three times the price paid for Dwight Howard’s Magic top, which found a new home for $8120. Orlando’s second highest priced shirt Thursday was the one donned by Rashard Lewis during Game 3. It sold for $22220.
Fans and collectors also gravitated toward Pau Gasol. The former Memphis Grizzly has become a fan favorite in LA, and his jersey brought $4561.
A basketball used in Game 1 was also auctioned. It sold for $3521.
Other jersey sales Thursday included:
- Trevor Ariza $3220
- Derek Fisher $3020
- Jordan Farmar $2170
- Lamar Odom (first half jersey) $2120
- Hedo Turkoglu $1770
