It turns out Brett Favre isn’t the only memorabilia client for Big Buck Sports. The guy who turned the Ryder Cup into a rodeo has picked up a Sharpie of his own.
It may not be the marketing capital of the world, but Hattiesburg, MS has deals with two of the most popular athletes of 2008.
Earlier this week, we wrote about Brett Favre’s new autograph deal with Big Buck Sports. Now, the outdoor sports company has a new client.
Boo Weekley, who set golf on its ear during the 2008 Ryder Cup in Louisville, has just had his first official signing with Big Buck. An avid outdoorsman, Weekley would be a natural choice for Big Buck as the company expands into memorabilia.
Weekley was a key player in the captivating US win over Europe, egging on the already pro-American crowd and galloping down the first tee on the final day with a club between his legs like Happy Gilmore.
The autograph session took place last Wednesday, according to Weekley’s website. The golfer spent some time signing items for sale to the public, but also included were Weekley’s Ryder Cup golf shirts, worn during the matches. The shirts will be available in the coming weeks–set for sale in an online auction benefitting Weekley’s charities.
