The first major game-worn item offered by Fanatics Collect since its rebranding of the former PWCC Marketplace is on the auction block.
The company’s August Premier Auction includes an autographed and inscribed jersey worn by Tom Brady during his final NFL season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Nike jersey was worn by Brady during the team’s Oct. 27, 2022 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Brady inscribed the date, affirmed its game use and included his stats from the game on the back. His signed certificate of authenticity comes with it.
Brady, who has an autograph deal with Fanatics, would go on to play just ten more NFL games before retiring for good after the season.
Bidding opened at $240,000 and will continue through Thursday, Aug. 22.
Last fall, Brady’s final game worn jersey, used in the Bucs’ 2022 playoff loss, sold for $1.3 million via Sotheby’s.
A 2000 Brady Fleer Mystique Masterpiece 1/1 chase card graded BGS 9 is also part of the auction, with bidding at over $32,000 thus far.
In the good timing department, Fanatics is also offering one of the 25 2009 National Treasures Gold Stephen Curry Rookie Patch Autograph cards. Graded PSA 8.5, the card featuring the hero of the recent Olympic gold medal basketball game is expected to bring a six-figure price.
A BGS 8.5 1984-85 Star Company Michael Jordan and a BGS 9.5 Jordan Fleer rookie card are also among the cards in the auction.
In addition to the Brady jersey, the auction includes the signed and inscribed jersey Fernando Tatis Jr. wore during his MLB debut, and four days later when he hit his first major league home run.
In all, 87 higher end lots are part of the online sale.
