The game didn’t end until well past the normal bedtime for many, but last Saturday’s Colorado-Colorado State game was must-see TV. It was ESPN’s 5th most-watched college football game ever, drawing 9.3 million viewers.
Colorado’s resurgence under “Coach Prime” has been great timing for Topps’ new college football “NOW” cards. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders, sporting the sunglasses made famous in the days leading up to the rivalry game, is featured on a card this week and it’s safe to say sales of the cards should be strong.
Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.—expected to be among the top picks in next spring’s NFL Draft– is also on a card this week, along with Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman and LSU receiver Malik Sanders.
Like Topps’ other NOW cards, the Bowman U releases are all priced at $9.99 each, less in quantity, or you can buy cheaper on eBay if you’re willing to wait a few extra days.

BallNine has a feature on custom card maker Lee Johnson.

If you didn’t already know, you can add Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jake Driscoll to the list of current pro athletes who collect sports cards.
