There are certain products which are more consistent than a metronome each year. One of the products is Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects in which each box will have a mix of leading major league rookies and top prospects. Another standard is there will not be one duplicate in our review box. And the third and most important is there will be one autograph in each box. Released earlier this month, Bowman Draft always 
attracts prospectors in droves. It’s the first Topps product to showcase members of last June’s amateur draft.
There are seven cards in each pack with 24 packs per box. The base card design is similar to the regular Bowman set released a few months ago. And, just as with the regular Bowman issue, there are several different subsets included under the annual Bowman Draft umbrella. Those include rookie cards, draft picks, top prospects and chrome parallels of each type.
My local card store (Triple Cards, Plano TX) reported selling five cases very rapidly at $74.25 per box while leading on-line retailers are currently in the $60-65 range.
So how did we do from our box?
Bowman Draft Rookies: 20 of 45 which is nearly 50 percent
Bowman Draft Draft Picks: 38 of 130 or a bit more than 50 percent
Bowman Draft Top Prospects: 23 of 45 or just a bit more than 50 percent

Draft Picks Orange (#d to 250): Matt Derosier
Bowman Chrome Draft Rookies: 9 of 45 or 20 percent
Bowman Chrome Draft Picks: 24 of 130 or less than 20 percent

As expected, the 2013 Bowman Draft product delivers what we all expect and comes in at a reasonable price point with collectors understanding what to expect and to be happy with what they receive from their box,.So, for yet another year, Bowman Draft delivers a winning combination to collectors.
