The late Major League Baseball commissioner was a guy who never threw anything away. That’s good news for collectors who now have a chance to own some of it.
It’s been nearly a year since the death of former baseball commissioner Bowie Kuhn.
His tenure as the game’s caretaker was the second longest of all time and he accumulated plenty of baseball memorabilia along the way. Kuhn rarely threw anything out and now some one-of-a-kind pieces are about to be sold by Hunt Auctions.
The Kuhn collection is part of the company’s auction to be held live and online later this week. There are even items pre-dating his term as commissioner according to Jacksonville.com.
