Take a trip to the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory with us.
Baseball’s biggest icon isn’t human.
Louisville Slugger has been around since the 19th century, turning out big league bats by the thousands each day. From humble beginnings to a multi-million dollar operation today, the factory has contracts with some of the game’s biggest stars.
The best part of it is that as long as you pay for a tour, anyone can walk right up to the bat makers and see them making those bats that eventually find their way to your collection.
Beth Haynes of NBC affiliate WBIR-TV in Knoxville gives us a tour.
