Another of the hobby’s four major grading services has partnered on a submission deal with a selling platform.
Not long after CSG struck a deal with PWCC, Beckett has done the same.
For $50, collectors can submit raw cards to PWCC, which will have them graded by Beckett and post them to their auction platform within about ten days after they return. Collectors don’t need to fill out any grading company paperwork and the cost is taken out of the submission proceeds once an auction or sale is completed.
The $50 price remains the same regardless of genre, category or estimated card value.
“Our goal with this partnership is to provide liquidity for all,” says Jesse Craig, Director of Business Development at PWCC Marketplace. “Giving owners of raw cards options for fast, high-quality, and easy-to-use grading services from an industry renowned brand like Beckett is a key step in creating that liquidity and improving the diversity of cards available in the marketplace.”
Beckett subgrades and autograph grades are also included in the service. There is no limit to the number of cards a client can submit.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with PWCC to marry our best-in-class grading with their Marketplace,” added Kunal Chopra, CEO of Beckett. “It’s a natural partnership, and it’s also part of our effort to be a one-stop platform for the collectibles industry as a whole.”
