He’s bought and sold millions of cards in the 30 years he’s been a full-time dealer. Back in the late 1970s, selling them full-time was still a novel concept.
But Kit Young has built one of the hobby’s longest-running businesses over the last three decades, first through a shop, then mail order and now much of his business is conducted online where he’s ranked among the top volume sellers. He’s got over 13,000 cards listed on eBay.
It’s a constant battle to find new inventory and sell it. The road he took was much different than the one he was on when he was a student at a small college in Minnesota.
This week, he’s back in that area, though. Buying more cards, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
