Scott Bebensee was a Florida teenager when Leonard Marshall was patrolling the defensive line for the New York Giants. The young man and his friends sometimes wrote to NFL players, sending along a few football cards in hopes of scoring an autograph.
Marshall got one of those requests from young Scott, but the box he put the envelope in got lost.
For a really, really long time.
