Benno Rosinke isn’t obsessed with collecting baseball autographs, but he’s passionate about it.
He went to spring training. He found former Yankees running businesses in Cooperstown. He found obscure coaches through research.
Kitchener, Ontario teacher Benno Rosinske is diligent enough to have lots of big name baseball autographs–and just about every Toronto Blue Jay player, manager and coach in the club’s 30+ year history. He’s not obsessed with having all 556 but would you believe his want list includes only 7 names?
He’s got some nice themes and a room to display his collection of signatures. Not all are worth much more than the ink it took to create the signature but that doesn’t matter to a true collector.
"To me they’re priceless because they mean something, right?" he told the Toronto Star.
