The late Red Auerbach spent decades in pro basketball, so it’s no surprise he accumulated a lot of stuff that’s been passed down. But you’ll never guess where one of his daughters lives.
Championship rings, banners, giveaway items…you name it. Red Auerbach had it. He knew the game’s history and his place in it and he made sure to hang onto most of what he accumulated over his years as patriarch of the Boston Celtics.
Red isn’t around anymore but his stuff is–and so is his passion for the game, passed down to the next generation.
Randy Auerbach is proud to be Red’s daughter and she lives and dies with the Celtics who are now on the cusp of adding to the collection of championship trophies.
She’s one Boston fan who’s cheering against the arch-rival Lakers from her home in….L.A.???
