Topps will push out a 2019 edition of its Archives Signature Series product this summer.
Set for release July 10, boxes will once again contain a single, previously released Topps or Bowman card now signed by a current player. Each card will be numbered, carry a dated gold foil Archives Signature stamp and encased at a cost likely to be in the $45-$55 range.
Each case of 2019 Archives Signature Series ‘Active Player Edition’ will contain 20 boxes.
The full checklist won’t likely be available until closer to release date but expect to see cards signed by Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Clayton Kershaw, Shohei Ohtani and Jose Altuve, among others. All autographs are signed directly on the cards. No sticker autographs are included in the product.
Players typically sign several different cards but quantities of each are generally somewhat limited.
