A Virginia couple has opened a sports memorabilia store/ice cream shop. We think everything is probably displayed above eye level.
If you love ice cream and sports stuff, and are travelling somewhere near Poquoson, Virginia, you might want to write the name of the place down.
Gametoppers Ice Cream & Sports, owned by Jason and Ann-Marie Jaques, opened in May. It joins a sports memorabilia industry worth an estimated $1 billion per year. The business rents two storefronts at the Poquoson Shopping Center.
One side of Gametoppers sells items autographed by sports stars, including baseball bats, posters and mini-football helmets. The other side offers 24 flavors of Hershey’s brand ice cream.
