A Massachusetts boy’s decision to sell his sports card collection to help a friend with cancer treatment expenses has touched off a wave of support over the last couple of weeks.
Brady Kahle is just nine years old but his selfless gesture awed both his family and strangers around the country.
Brady is a huge Red Sox fan who has had his own collection since he was a toddler. His grandfather taught him how to read through the backs of cards they received when opening packs.
His mom said Brady was worried no one would come to the Chicopee Boys & Girls Club show where he set up his table but according to this story, it was a huge success—and even Roberto Clemente’s widow called to express her admiration.
WWLP-TV also stopped by to chat with Brady and his friend Landen. Watch their story below.
