Police in San Antonio are still looking for a man who broke into a local sports card shop and stole $30,000 worth of new products last month.
It happened at Sports Cards Plus on the city’s north side sometime around 2 AM on May 8.
That’s when police say a Caucasian or Hispanic man about 5’10 and 240 pounds, possibly with tattoos on the backs of both hands, picked a lock on the front door and carted out several valuable cases of unopened boxes.
The store’s alarm did not activate because the electricity had been cut off.

The suspect has a light complexion male and a large nose. He sported a full beard and wore dark clothing with a baseball cap during the burglary.
Crime Stoppers may pay up $5,000 for information which leads to the arrest of the suspect. Sports Cards Plus owner Charlie DiPietro is also offering a $5,000 reward.
DiPietro says the missing cases included: 2019 Bowman Jumbo, 2018 Bowman Jumbo, 2018 Bowman Draft Jumbo, 2016 Bowman Draft Jumbo, 2018-19 Prizm Hobby basketball, boxes of 18-19 National Treasures FOTL basketball, 2017 and 2018 National Treasures NFL and 12 boxes of 2017 Contenders NFL.
