The new season will be just about ready to kick off when one of the pro football card calendar’s biggest releases of the previous season arrives. 2023 National Treasures Football is set to make its return with the usual mix of thick cards, autographs and patches.
The current release date is set for Sept. 4, but as always, it’s subject to change.
Each box of National Treasures contains eight cards including six autographs and/or memorabilia cards, a base or insert card and a base parallel. Cases hold four boxes.
Rookie Patch Autographs and their numbered parallels are always among the key hits.
Jumbo Prime Signatures is another possibility for rookie autographs.
New this year are Elevated Ink booklets with a signature and a card that folds up to reveal a full image of the player.
Treasured Dual Cuts put big names from the past together on one fold-out card.
Colossal Signatures put large patches with autographs.
Gladiators Signatures center on NFL stars.
Rookie Triple Booklets showcase three members of the 2023 NFL Draft class. Look for NFL shield versions there and as a standalone subset, according to preview information from Panini.
Can’t get enough Patrick Mahomes? He’s on the checklist for a set focused on players who made a name for themselves in the biggest game of the year.
No information on parallels has been released yet.
