In a new series, we’ll take you inside the card shop and go blow-by-blow through various breaks of hobby boxes, jumbo boxes, cello boxes, blaster boxes and any other boxes we can get our hands on.
We kick off with a 2022 Prestige Football blaster.
Offering up 11 cards per pack with 6 packs for a total of 66 cards per blaster box, Prestige was one of the first out of the gate in 2022. Collectors can also look for Blaster exclusive Diamond parallels, hot rookies and much more.

After five base cards in the first pack we saw a nice subset card with Tyreek Hill in his new Miami Dolphins uniform. A few cards later we pulled a very nice Season’s Greetings Red Kenny Pickett card numbered to 499 gleeful copies.
These were designed off the old school postcards, of course, and look quite good.
The second pack had a nice Any Given Sunday Jonathan Taylor card. Again, just a few short cards later we then pulled Kenny Pickett’s base Prestige rookie card.
The highlight of pack three was the Jerome Bettis Diamond Xtra Points card, as advertised on the box.
Pack four delivered an Extra Points Trevon Diggs and a base Drake London rookie. Just when we thought that was the end of the pack we pulled an Elijah Moore Xtra Points numbered to 99 shiny copies.
The highlight of pack five was a Ja’marr Chase Heroes insert. Heroes is a very nice looking almost comic book styled card.
The sixth and final pack produced another Xtra Points Diamond card featuring Jacksonville Jaguars defensive stopper Josh Allen.
We got lucky with what turned out to be a home state heavy blaster box that consisted of two nice Kenny Pickett rookie year cards, the Jerome Bettis parallel and some other nice pieces of cardboard. A Pennsylvania break if there ever was one.
2022 Presitige packed some nice looking cards into this box. For less than 30 bucks, we won’t complain about the value pulled.
