Impeccable Football is one of the more highly anticipated releases of the football season. Since its inception, it has held its position in the upper echelon of all products released throughout the year, so its recent arrival was highly anticipated.
Luckily, we received a full case and a number of loose boxes last week. As always, the box itself is pretty non-descript but that belies some of the quality that’s typically inside.
Each box of 2022 Impeccable Football holds eight cards, including five to six autographs. Even the base cards are limited, numbered to 75 copies, with lower numbered parallels so there is legitimate limited availability for just about everything that comes out of a box. Right now, they’re selling for just over $1,000 online.
One pack was noticeably thicker than the other, so of course, we decided to jump right into that one.
The first card on the top of the pack was a nice Elegance card of Dallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver Jalen Tolbert that consisted of a nice full autograph, a piece of white memorabilia and a silver piece of Cowboys helmet, numbered to 75 copies. The South Alabama product was injured for part of the year and caught only two passes. Hopefully, he’ll be a bigger contributor in 2023.
The next card up was an absolutely gorgeous Immortal Ink Brian Dawkins on card autograph with his number inscription and the words “God Bless” with a smiley face. The artistic swooping brush stroke card design and his autograph make this one of the cooler and more esthetically pleasing cards I’ve seen in a long time. It also helps it’s numbered out of 25. Dawkins is a Philly legend and this one would go over very well with an Eagles fan.

The hits just kept coming (out of the NFC East) as the next card was a acetate Game Breakers on card autograph of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott numbered 9 of just 50 copies. The acetate stock card is a nice addition the the high end look and feel of Impeccable. Unfortunately, Dak did not exactly increase his hobby stock last weekend.
Next up was a Super Bowl Champion Signatures card of Los Angeles Rams star WR Isaac Bruce. It’s such a great image of him in the moment of the post Super Bowl celebration, hoisting the Lombardi Trophy high above his head with his Super Bowl champion T-shirt and hat on. Numbered to just 49 copies, it’s a beauty.
Next up was an on-card rookie autograph of Houston Texans safety Jalen Pitre numbered 71/75. Pitre had a very nice season, picking off five passes and recording nearly 100 tackles for the lowly Texans.
Suddenly it was a run on Texans as we hit a Davis Mills /50 silver parallel of the base card.
Another base card popped up next–this one of Las Vegas Raiders superstar defensive end Maxx Crosby, numbered to 75 copies.
If you are doing the math at home that makes seven cards, so our second pack held one single card.
It was worth putting this bad boy in its own pack as we pulled a 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver Desmond Ridder rookie card numbered out of 25. The silver cards are case hits, so we were really happy to score this one. The Falcons rookie showed flashes of what fans can expect moving forward. As with most rookies, it’s a wait and see game but for now at least, this is a really good pull.
That wraps up a pretty spectacular box of a high end product. After a quick check online, we probably wouldn’t quite make our money back on this box if we opt to sell the cards now but it was still a great rip with a bunch of nice quality cards with long term appeal.
