2022 Bowman Chrome X is a pretty simple concept.
As was the case last year, the latest edition of the online exclusive product is an online exclusive through Topps. In 2019 and 2020, it was sold via the company’s partnership with StockX.
Boxes contain one encased card from a checklist of 100 of baseball’s better prospects and rookies, produced on shiny X-fractor stock. A checklist is available below.
There are Orange, Red and Gold parallel versions are possible. There was no word on whether they’d be numbered.
Autograph parallels, numbered to 5 again this year, are possible. The autograph checklist is just 23 players including 14 prospects and nine rookies. Among the rookies who have signed for the product are Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt Jr., and Oneil Cruz.
Boxes of 2022 Bowman Chrome X are priced at $150 via this page on Topps’ website.
