Future licensing issues aside, work continues on upcoming products at Topps and one of the company’s signature brands is set to make its annual spring return. 2022 Bowman Baseball has a release date of May 4, with its usual focus on minor league prospects.

2022 Bowman Baseball Configuration
Bowman will once again have two hobby-oriented configurations in addition to what will likely be the usual mix of retail packaging (blaster boxes, etc.). Hobby boxes will have 24 packs of 10 cards with one autographed card while Jumbo boxes will contain 12 packs of 32 cards including three autographs at a higher price point.

Inserts
There are several new inserts planned for 2022 Bowman including one that once again marries “3D” and baseball cards. They’ll be found only one in every 18 packs.
New in 2022 are Hi-Fi Futures, found once in every six packs. According to Topps, “with a bit of raw inspiration from popular album art from the past, this insert stands to shine a light on some of the most promising and consistent prospects of the future.”
Also new this year are Virtuosic Vibrations – (1:8 Packs), which are focused on young stars and the “vibration or energy that matches their exceptional skills.”
Bowman Scouts’ Top 100 cards are back in ’22 and will be found once in every four packs.
