One card. One autograph.
Boxes of 2021 Topps Clearly Authentic Baseball will maintain that simple concept when they arrive this summer. A staple on the release calendar since 2017, Clearly Authentic offers a single autographed card, hard signed and created from clear acetate stock. Each card comes inside a plastic holder sealed with a Topps sticker.
This year’s breakdown includes:
Clearly Authentic Autographs, focused on 2021 rookies and produced in this year’s flagship design. Green (# to 99); Black (# to 75); Red (# to 50) and Blue (# to 25) parallels will be part of the checklist.
Other concepts include Clearly Authentic 1986 Topps Baseball Autographs, which utilize the design from 35 seasons ago and feature signatures from both current and former stars. Parallels include Green (# to 99); Black (# to 75); Red (# to 50), Blue (# to 25), Purple (# to 10); Orange (# to 5) and 1/1 Gold.
Also new are 70 Years of Topps Baseball Autographs, which will utilize designs from throughout Topps’ long history. They’ll have Black and White parallels numbered to 70 and 1/1 Sepia versions.
1954 Reimagining Autographs honor current and former greats utilizing the ’54 Topps design. Those will be numbered to 199 or less with 1/1 Sepia parallels.
The inaugural Topps Allen & Ginter set from 2006 gets a shout too. Those designs will also be numbered to 199 or less with Blue (# to 25); Purple (# to 10); Orange (# to 5) and 1/1 Gold versions.
The release date for 2021 Topps Clearly Authentic Baseball is set for July 21.
