2021-22 Panini Mosaic Basketball was set to arrive right after the NBA Finals, but like most products, it’ll be stretched well beyond the original June release date. It’s now set to arrive Jan. 25, 2023.
The configuration remains the same: 15 cards per pack, 10 packs per box and 12 boxes per case.
A typical box will yield one autographed card, 20 Prizms and 20 inserts.
Mosaic is done on chromium stock with the base set including rookies, veterans and former grerats. Collectors can chase after a wide range of base set parallels including Hobby exclusive Mosaic Red, Mosaic NBA 75th Anniversary, Mosaic Blue (#’d/99), Mosaic Purple (#’d/49), Mosaic White (#’d/25), Mosaic Gold (#’d/10), and 1/1 Mosaic Black.
Autograph content is fairly straightforward. You’ll find signed cards in Autographs Mosaic or Rookie Autographs Mosaic. Gold (#’d/10) and Black (1-of-1) parallels are exclusive to Hobby boxes.
Insert sets that are exclusive to Hobby boxes include Straight Fire, Starting 5, Swagger, Overdrive, and Stained Glass. New this year are rare Translucence and Rookie Eruption.
