Topps has again partnered with Walmart for a 2020 Heritage Baseball Mega Box product.
Heritage arrived at hobby shops, online dealers and other retail outlets Wednesday but the Mega Boxes will only be available through Walmart stores.
Each Mega Box contains 15 packs of nine cards plus a bonus pack that has three Heritage Chrome cards. Walmart has labeled them “exclusive” which likely means they will differ from those sold in Heritage boxes not sold at Walmart. Such was the case last year. There are also Refractor Parallel versions numbered to 571, White Bordered Parallels numbered to 71 and 1/1 Superfractors.
The Mega Boxes are priced at $39.99 and are available here.
Walmart is also offering 24-pack hobby boxes at $99.99 (including one autograph or relic card as well as a box loader), blaster boxes at $19.99 and hangar packs at $10.99. Walmart blasters will hold a 1971-style scratch-off insert card that’s exclusive to the boxes sold there.
Topps and Walmart have also partnered for 2020 Series 1 exclusives.
2020 Topps Heritage is designed to mimic the 1971 Topps baseball set. Complete base sets include 500 cards with #401-500 found only once in every three packs.
