Look for some additional rookie autograph content in 2020 Panini Gold Standard football, set for release on Friday, August 7.
Once again, Gold Standard will be heavy on autograph and memorabilia cards but there’s a base set to chase, too.
2020 Panini Gold Standard Configuration and Base Set
Each box will carry a single pack with seven cards. Five of those will be autos or relics. Each case will have 12 boxes.
The base set will be half veterans and retired stars and half rookies. Each base card will be numbered to 99 except for these parallels:
Platinum #’d /75
Rose Gold #’d /25
Violet #’d /10
Sapphire #’d /5
Black #’d /1
New this year are autographed versions of the rookie base cards. They’ll be numbered no higher than 199 with Rose Gold (# to 25 or less) and 1/1 Black versions.
Other Autograph and Memorabilia Cards
Look for Rookie Jersey Autographs of the 2020 rookies with short-printed double and triple versions that feature multiple players. Prime parallels will be numbered to 99 with 1/1 Tag versions also in the mix.
Some of the toughest autographs to pull will be Super Bowl Diamond Signatures, which feature a
real diamond embedded in the card with an autograph from a Super Bowl champion. There will also be dual versions. Each card will have no more than five copies created.
Golden Shield Signatures, which feature a large Gold NFL shield from a football combined with autographs from star players.
Gold Scripts will feature some of the top players in NFL history with cards signed in gold ink. Platinum versions will be numbered to higher than 49 with Holo Silver 1/1s also possible.
Gold Jacket Signatures returns, showing players at their Hall of Fame induction and during their playing days. They’ll be numbered to 99 with Platinum versions to 25 and Black parallels that will be 1/1.
Double Standard dual autographs will pair current stars with past legends, coaches with their star quarterbacks and other combinations.
New autograph subsets in 2020 Gold Standard will include Golden Boots, Golden Nuggets and Golden Gloves.
Memorabilia card inserts will include Hall of Gold Threads, Gold Gear, Gold Rush, White Gold, Mother Lode, and Golden Pairs. Each parallel to prime versions (max #’d 49) and 1/1 premium versions.
